The Europconsult firm was founded in 1985 by Michel Blanchard-Jacquet.
1979-1989
After starting his career in Stuttgart, Germany in 1979, working under a top auditing professional for two years, Michel Blanchard-Jacquet then returned to Paris. Michel Blanchard-Jacquet He then held various positions at the headquarters of an international transportation company.
His international background has informed the international outlook of the business.
The firm began its activity with external audit missions in the banking sector and then developed accounting and management assistance missions with subsidiaries of German companies in France.
1989 – 1997
In 1989, the fall of the Berlin Wall gave the firm the opportunity to carry out consulting missions in the New German Länders, and the firm was renamed "Allemagne France Audit". The state of Saxony in Germany entrusted the firm to represent Saxony's economic development company in France between 1993 and 1996. The firm was then engaged in the design and promotion of a regional technological park.
Subsequently, new missions in accounting expertise and statutory audit were entrusted to the firm, which has developed its activity in France with subsidiaries of foreign companies.
1997-2004
The firm's specialty is to offer services in several languages with a developed multicultural approach. This is why the firm was renamed in 1997 to EUROPCONSULT International
New developments in 1999 led the firm to offer its services to a clientele of Chinese companies based in Paris, and to produce reports each year in Mandarin. This allowed the firm to acquire professional and cultural competence in China.
2004 to today
In 2004, the firm benefited from acquiring an accountancy firm, SOCOGE, whose clientele is made up of small and medium-sized “typically French” companies, with more traditional missions in accounting expertise.
This development, positive for the firm's structural balance, allows it to cover a wide range of missions for a varied clientele, French and international, traditional and institutional.
